Referrals are our whole strategy.
Over 1000 clients, and we still know your name
IPS administers drug and alcohol programs for more than a thousand active clients and over twenty thousand drivers — from independent owner-operators to transportation companies running three hundred trucks. What has not changed as that number grew is the thing clients actually talk about: you get a named contact who knows your account without looking it up.
We add roughly 25 to 30 new clients a year, essentially all by referral. Nobody refers a vendor because the price was fine. They refer one because someone answered at 1am, or because an auditor left with zero findings.
What our clients have in common
Very little, on paper. A four-hundred-truck interstate carrier and a one-truck owner-operator have different problems, different budgets and different levels of in-house expertise. What they share is a point where the compliance work outgrew whoever was doing it in spare time.
For a large fleet that usually means a dedicated random pool, multi-terminal reporting and audit representation. For an owner-operator it means consortium membership and a properly filed C/TPA designation — both mandatory, and both missing more often than you would believe.
Switching is the normal way people arrive
Most of our clients did not start with us. They came from another administrator, usually after something went wrong: a missed selection deadline, an unreachable account rep, an audit they faced alone, or the discovery that five years of records lived with a company that stopped returning calls.
Switching costs nothing and takes about a day. We request your records, reconcile your roster, load your pool, verify your Clearinghouse status and issue your certificate. See Join IPS for exactly what that looks like.
